On November 21, 2025, the second day of the VII International Municipal BRICS Forum successfully concluded in St. Petersburg. The day's program opened with a business breakfast, creating favorable conditions for an informal discussion of promising areas of cooperation and preparation for productive work. One of the Forum's activities also included a special negotiation track for the St. Petersburg Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, represented at the Forum by Vice President Aleksey Dotsenko.
The main part of the day was dedicated to a busy business program, including sessions, roundtables, and discussions on key aspects of multilateral cooperation. For example, during the roundtable "Development of Northern Territories. The Northern Sea Route," experts from SCO+ countries conducted a comprehensive analysis of the problems and prospects for the development of the Arctic route. Key challenges were highlighted, including a shortage of specialized fleets, limited port infrastructure, and foreign policy risks. Particular attention was paid to the importance of international cooperation in shipbuilding and environmental safety.

During the event, participants learned a lot of new information about Russian special-purpose equipment and discussed the practical application of these technologies and the daily challenges faced by city and regional authorities.
